I import MP3 files into my Kdenlive projects that are set to a sample rate of 44100 Hz - which is the rate I'd like to maintain. The problem is that Kdenlive is rendering the videos using an audio rate of 48000, which is causing some audio quality deterioration. Is there any way for me to control the sample rate setting that Kdenlive uses...or, even better, to simply accept the rate used by the imported audio files?
Thanks,

Trying to achieve this, I created a new rendering profile and added ar=44100 to it. The resulting file does use 44100, but I don't know if it's first converted to 48000 and then back to 44100, or all processing is done on 44100.
