I've been using KdenLive for just over 2 months now and I cant take this glaring issue any longer, I just yelled at my computer and I need to finally address this. 1st of all I'm on Fedora Linux and I have to use the App Image (kdenlive-17.08.2-x86_64) because the normal version had issues with my OS build.
Almost every transition I make there is audio crackling during the transition. Seems to happen mostly when the A/V is in 1 track but its happened with no Audio at all. Volume/Gain at 0 makes no difference at all. Sometimes, different audio tracks merely being next to each other causes an audio crackle when it plays through the part. please advise how to correct this, it's very unprofessional sounding. |

Here is another Topic with the same issue that apparently was never solved.

I had a similar issue in a specific context.
I was using an entry level VHF wireless Lavalier with the receiver connected to a XLR IN on a Canon XA20. The audio was fine until I started adding transitions. I was able to clear cracklings by changing the length of clips adding or removing a few frames. Then I decided to look carefully into my audio chain and realized that the batteries were weak in the transceiver. |
