Hi,

I'd like to record voice overs within Kdenlive but I keep seeing the message
"Capture crashed, please check your parameters" (Windows Kdenlive Version 17.12.0)

The parameters in the Settings > Configure KDenLive > Capture > Screen grab > X264 with Audio are
-f alsa -i pulse -acodec pcm_s16le -vcodec libx264 -preset fast -threads 0

Is this a known issue? Is there anything I can do to get it working?

I don’t think this is working under Windows. It’s known that voice over is not proper working even in the Linux version (MLT issue). Record it with other software or try it with version 18.04.1d from here: https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ ... 1d-w64.zip. Make sure you follow this steps: viewtopic.php?f=269&t=152358

Maybe in the upcoming refactoring release it’s implemented.
