Hello everyone,

I recently downloaded Kdenlive 18.04.1 on Linux Mint 18.3 and when I drag the timeline cursor, there is no audio. However, when I play the clips at normal speed or drag the timeline cursor very quickly, the audio is fine.

This is frustrating because it is difficult for me to sync 2 audio sources when I can't hear the audio frame by frame.

I previously used Kdenlive 17.12.0d and didn't have this problem.

I have the same here on the Windows version. It works on version 17.12.0 it doesn’t with version 18.04.1.

Use the version 17.12.0d.

As a work around on version 18.04.1: Split video and audio so you can see the audio waves. Zoom into the timeline so you can cut according the wave peaks.

:'( This 18.x update only made Kdenlive worse for me.
