Hi community,
I have a problem with audio pitch compensation on speed changes. This option is greyed out and I don't have any idea, why. I tried to compensate pitch on a video with integrated audio and with a pure wav audio file. I have the latest 20.04 installed on Ubuntu 20.04. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advanced. Christian. |

Hello,
I guess you are using our PPA to have Kdenlive 20.04 on Ubuntu 20.04? We have to add "rubberband" library to our packaging, not done yet. All filters are included in our AppImage if you want... |

Hello,
I tried the packages from the ubuntu repo and from the PPA as well. Didn't try the Appimage yet, thanks for this valued hint. Is there any package I can install manually to have all bells and whistles installed? Thanks in advanced, Christian. |

I can confirm on Ubuntu 18.04.4. I installed rubberband but nothing changed. Installed from the snap store.

Hi Vincent maybe is necessary to add a warning text when starting a new post to "advise" users that is necessary to open request/issues about 20.x Kdenlive version and that "2019" release of Linux is required. looking at new posts 50% are about older release of kdenlive requesting changes and fixes (already done on updated releases) and about users stuck to 19x releases of Kdenlive because they are using a "2018" release of Linux... or... maybe "separate" forums... issues ( only 20.08 ) issues ( only 20.04 ) issues ( only older version ) like now users are asking the same thing 3 - 4 - 5 times.. and the answer is maybe always : switch to a more updated release of Kdenlive. |
