Hello,
I have same result with my openSUSE kdenlive 20.04.2 and with what seems to be the very last kdenlive 22.04.2 appimage on openSUSE Leap 15.3.

I use extensively the automatic audio syn between two tracks. One with image and relatively bad audio track and the other with audio from an audio recorder, good. Today I have problem.

video tracks are relatively short (400Mb MTS, 2 minutes clip), but audio mp3 track is long (90 minutes).

I keep only on the timeline the relevant part of the clips, roughly aligned, with room on the two sides.

I select the good audio track and say "define reference", it works. then "align audio track", it works then suddenly the *video* clip is completely removed.

Same with the two kdenlive versions :-(.

no idea why

I don't know how to upload a file, so I put on my nextcloud the tgz of the journalctl | grep kdenlive

thanks

you can open an issue here: (you can also put videos and PNG images to show the problem) https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kdenlive/-/issues
