Hi,
I've been using Kdenlive for about 2 months now and just noticed these weird and annoying sounds in my rendered videos. I'm using version 22.04.2 on Windows 10. I always render at these settings: - MP4-H264/AAC - 85% quality - faster or fast encoder speed with parallel processing In the raw audio, and during editing in Kdenlive, the audio is fine, only after rendering does it suddenly get worse and do the sounds/artifacts occur. I tried different render settings (MPEG-2, lower/higher quality, slower encoding speed) but it doesn't make a difference. Here is the most recent video, the one where the problem is most obvious. For example, at 2:44. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPqQrO1hDDo&t=102s I'm hoping it's just me who hears it, though that might be worrying from a psychological standpoint Maybe it's something with the audio drivers in my PC, I don't know... My fiancée said she doesn't hear anything too disruptive. It's very noticeable to me with headphones (with both pairs I own), a bit less through speakers. Any help would be very much appreciated! |

What would be the simplest way to do this? I don't know how if it's possible to add a file to a comment. FWIW I have found a way to get rid of the extraneous noise by exporting lossless, which means the file sizes are now 1gb/minute instead of 100-ish mb/minute... If that's the price to pay, I can definitely live with it, but if there would be a way to eliminate the noise while keeping file sizes reasonable, that would be ideal. |
