Channel levels and Master levels not corresponding

Hello everyone,

I was editing a music video recently, however I've come across a weird problem: the levels of the Audio channel do not match the levels on Master channel, eventhough there are no effects at all on the Master and the Volume controls are both on 0 dB (see image). There is clearly a difference in the output when listening too (when listening to the preview of a clip and then when listening to the Timeline preview).

Is there a possibility to get rid of this please? I have no idea what could cause that – maybe some auto copression or normalisation of Master or something like that?

Thank you so much, best regards!
