I'm trying to upload to YouTube lossless videos generated by Kdenlive. It fails but the issue has nothing to do with Kdenlive. The problem lies in YouTube timing out on processing these huge lossless video stream.

But as I think this situation may be encountered by other members of the community, I think its a good idea to share this experience.

Here is my notification of the issue to YouTube: http://www.google.as/support/forum/p/youtube/thread?tid=75339c5b55c52889 . You'll find there all the technical details involved.

FYI, here is the parameters I used in Kdenlive to produce the video I'm trying to upload to YouTube:

f=avi hq=1 acodec=pcm_s16le ac=2 ar=44100 pix_fmt=yuv420p vcodec=libx264 cqp=0 me_method=esa subq=8 qmin=10 qcomp=0.6 qdiff=4 qmax=51 coder=ac partitions=+parti4x4+parti8x8+partp4x4+partp8x8+partb8x8 refs=16 flags2=+dct8x8+mixed_refs trellis=1 aspect=%dar

BTW, the codec parameters above is known as the "H.264 lossless slow (video)" preset in Kdenlive. I've just changed the audio part to let it use the PCM codec instead of AAC.
