When I used kdenlive that I can't find preset of hyffyuv encoder. Also .. can't find how use rendering of that one with several streams of cpu.
Use AMD Phenom core-quad 9550. It's an old cpu but when we use only one cores with kdenlive' rendering so it's watches very hard for all.

There is a rendering preset for huffyuv but it's not in the "file rendering" category, it's in "lossless / HQ". I have had some trouble with it - for some reason the bottom half of the image doesn't encode properly, so I use DNxHD for an intermediate format instead.

huffyuv in ffmpeg does not support multi-threaded encoding.
More threads for image processing before encoding is coming for the next release.
