using:- Kdenlive 0.8.1+svn20110623.r5726-0ubuntu0~sunab~maverick1

Upgraded to this version this morning and it now appears Projects will not render correctly.

Rendering 1080i 50fps. I seem to just get a 16.9 rectangle video about half screen size (centred) with jerky video and corrupted audio.

Last weekend, I'm almost certain I was using r5725 and rendering was perfect.

Is anyone else having any problems with the above revision?

Might be related to a recent change in MLT. In some rendering pofiles, like 1080i 50fps, we previously used "profile=hdv_1080_50i". Since a few weeks, MLT does not understand it anymore and "profile" must be changed to "mlt_profile", so that is should now be "mlt_profile=hdv_1080_50i".

So if you updated Kdenlive without updating MLT, you are probably passing a wrong argument in the render profile

Sorry, I should have stated which mlt I'm using.

Both were updated together yesterday.
