NTSC video sync problem.

Wed Nov 21, 2007 9:44 pm

I'm using kdenlive 0.5 on Mandriva 2008. The problem is that exporting in NTSC creates clips with the audio out of sync with the video. Only PAL works. Is there a simple way that this can be fixed? Version 0.4 didn't have this problem. Is this in anyway connected to rendering by PIAVE?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

From what I understand Kdenlive defaults to PAL. I thought perhaps that it might be possible to simply edit a file in the source and recompile. Even better would be to simple edit a configuration file somewhere to reset the default to NTSC. A work around would be good enough until the next version comes out. Either way, I'm certain that Kdenlive is the program to stick with for video editing on Linux.
