Shouldn't the audio be exported by default? Currently, you have to check the "export audio" box to add sound to your rendering. Seems to me that exporting the audio should be the default and a "do not export audio" check box should be the option.

You are right, this change was probably unwanted. I am currently working on an improvement that will automatically change the setting depending on whether there is audio in the timeline
