I'm having trouble getting kdenlive to output valid Ogg/Theora files. The render seems to go fine, but when I try to view the file I only get the first video frame or a black frame.
I'm using kdenlive 0.7.3 on kubuntu 9.04. I installed the libav*-unstripped library versions, re-ran the config wizard, and I can successfully export in AVI, MPEG2, MPEG4, FLV, and H.264. Ogg files made with OggConvert and ffmpeg2theora both work fine. When I import the ogg file back into Kdenlive, I get only the first frame. Here's the output from mplayer: [code] mplayer untitled.ogg MPlayer 1.0rc2-4.3.3 (C) 2000-2007 MPlayer Team CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ (Family: 15, Model: 35, Stepping: 2) CPUflags: MMX: 1 MMX2: 1 3DNow: 1 3DNow2: 1 SSE: 1 SSE2: 1 Compiled with runtime CPU detection. mplayer: could not connect to socket mplayer: No such file or directory Failed to open LIRC support. Unfortunately, there were problems rendering to Ogg Theora in older releases of MLT and Kdenlive, yours included. You must try to use Kdenlive 0.7.5 with MLT 0.4.4.
