Hello,
I have a memory camcoder that take video at 720x576. This format can be at 4:3 or 16:9. I set my camcoder to take it at 16:9. When i set new project and chose provided "DV/DVD Widescreen PAL" profile, when i render the video is squashed.
Can somebody help me whit this. What PAR and DAR i have to set up to have same resolution and aspect ratio as original.

I was able to fix it. When you add a clip, go to Clip properties and on Advanced set "Force pixel aspect ratio" (I set it to 1.42) and then render the video to 1024x576.
