Hi,
I use kdenlive 9.2 from Sunab repository, melt 0.8.2 in Xubuntu 12.04 and I have problems with rendering. Nothing works, I am not able to render more than 20 seconds. Always is there this warning: [wav @ 0x8469480] max_analyze_duration reached [wav @ 0x8469c40] max_analyze_duration reached [libx264 @ 0xb480cf60] [Eval @ 0xb51ef99c] Invalid chars '.6' at the end of expression '0.6' [libx264 @ 0xb480cf60] Unable to parse option value "0.6" [wav @ 0xb3810580] max_analyze_duration reached [wav @ 0xb38df2e0] max_analyze_duration reached [h264 @ 0x961d89a0] reference picture missing during reorder [h264 @ 0x961d89a0] Missing reference picture [h264 @ 0x961d89a0] decode_slice_header error [h264 @ 0xb36c5c80] reference picture missing during reorder [h264 @ 0xb36c5c80] Missing reference picture [h264 @ 0xb36c5c80] decode_slice_header error [h264 @ 0xa56aa540] reference picture missing during reorder [h264 @ 0xa56aa540] Missing reference picture [h264 @ 0xa56aa540] decode_slice_header error [h264 @ 0x961d89a0] reference picture missing during reorder [h264 @ 0x961d89a0] Missing reference picture [h264 @ 0x961d89a0] decode_slice_header error [h264 @ 0xb36c5c80] Missing reference picture [h264 @ 0xb36c5c80] decode_slice_header error [h264 @ 0x961d89a0] reference picture missing during reorder [h264 @ 0x961d89a0] Missing reference picture [h264 @ 0xa56aa540] reference picture missing during reorder [h264 @ 0xa56aa540] Missing reference picture [h264 @ 0x961d89a0] reference picture missing during reorder [h264 @ 0x961d89a0] Missing reference picture [h264 ....etc. I use .mts files with proxyclips. When I render only proxyclips, there is no problem. I red here advices, but nothing helped. Reopen efects, install LADSPA plugins or uninstall Tap-plugins. Strange is that month ago was everything OK. Yesterday I made clean install of Xubuntu 12.04 and nothing changed... It's probably an ffmpeg bug, isn't it? Here is x264 log: http://jumpshare.com/b/u7mPLP P. |

I think, that problem starts, when I installed mplayer and smplayer. I customize mplayer via smplayer. Uses Kdenlive parts of mplayer? I think that no, but someone could tell us more.

I tried render .mts files in mpeg2,HDV,Xvid,WebM,Theora and still nothing. I tried reinstall ffmpeg, kdenlive and its libraries and nothing changed.

The problem was in FFMPEG. I Updated it from repo https://launchpad.net/~jon-severinsson/+archive/ffmpeg?field.series_filter= and everything is OK!

Thank you for sharing your solution with us. While I did not have this problem on my kubuntu 12.10 64bit, it may come some day to the rescue...

You're welcome. I red some articles, where was written, that FFmpeg in Ubuntu 10.04-12.04 is very buggy. From 12.10 is situation better. So, I tried to upgrade it.
