I followed the instructions here: http://www.kdenlive.org/user-manual/downloading-and-installing-kdenlive/pre-compiled-packages/ubuntu-packages to install kdenlive 0.75 on my ubuntu jaunty PC. The installation went grand but when I loaded it up I found the same old errors that prevented me from being able to render in HDV, Xvid4, Mpeg-2, Mpeg-4, H.264 and Flash.

Does anyone know how I can solve this? I have 0.75 running fine but I still cant render to these formats. It's the only bug/problem I've noticed

What exactly is "the same old error"? Have a look at:

Maybe that is your problem.
