Will not render when I add audio

Fri Jul 31, 2009 3:02 pm
I was able to render several different video files when I stuck them together, however when I add audio on another track and the try and render it shows it as rendered in the rendering wizard, but I can see that it went too fast and when I look for the file there is none.

Do I need to perform some function like "merging" tracks before rendering to prepare the video so that it may be rendered? Also when I save as a Kdenlive project I am unable to re-open the files and it gives me an error.

Great program but the two problems I am having are killing me.

What kind of audio file are you adding? Can you play them with ffplay?

ffplay audio.wav

Also, please give more infos about the error on opening a project file & let us know which Kdenlive / MLT version you have.

Thanks for responding. The audio is a stereo mpeg file that I made myself. What is weird is I am able to render any and all video files but not with the mpeg. I will try with a .wav file. Who knows maybe it will work.
