Hello folks, thanks for taking time to read this and respond if you can.

I am pretty new to Kdenlive, but enjoying getting used to it.
My current puzzle is how to set the parameters to something different when rendering my videos.

Is there a user guide page where all the possible parameters/switches that can be used in Kdenlive are listed, to allow different settings?

there are some default ones and I have tried these but I would like to try different settings.
e.g. I note this when clicking on render:
acodec=vorbis ab=128k ar=44100 vcodec=libtheora minrate=0 b=12000k aspect=%dar pass=2

What are all these; and what others possible are there and what do they do (I am particularly interested in Theora/Vorbis.

If there is somewhere I can go look at, just point me please.

Thank you for your time.

We have not found all the parameters that work, and it is changing all the time. Sounds lame, but it's true, because it all depends on FFmpeg, and we do not have a lab with a team to test everything and build a big list. Instead, we are relying upon ad hoc, grassroots, online efforts like this and the contributable render profiles. Now, the answer you were really looking for: run 'ffmpeg -h' Bascially, everthing that is under AVOptions sections and some things before it are supported. You just need to convert the ffmpeg '-option value' syntax to the MLT option=value syntax. Now, you can read all about FFmpeg usage online and translate it to Kdenlive/MLT. However, be careful of version gremlins! You have to take the info you read and cross-check it with the output of ffmpeg -h on your system to validate and correct it.

thank you for the reply.

I have had to attach my reply in an attachment, as the forum protection software thought my post a spam post.
My apologies, I think it is the ffmpeg example i gave.

Please see my attachment and thank you again if you can help further.
