MPEG-2 Render stopps at 99%!

Mon Oct 12, 2009 9:04 am
Hi,

I am quit new to all this video editing, but have at last found a program that I can use!

I have added some clips but when I try to render them (using MPEG-2 200k or 400k on one or two passes), it stops at 99%, but the CPU is still running at 100% and the process is still running.

If I leave it running for 30 minutes after its reached 99% nothing happens!

FWIW I am running fc11 on a dual core Intel E2200 and all the rendering formats are not blanked out.

Could someone give me a clue to what is happening please?

When I looked at the log it just stopped without an error.

The program also stops intermittently when editing but I can recover it OK, however I would like to help in its development by sending some sort of error log, if I could find how to do it!

Thanks

Hi,

Just found something that might be relevant, I put a small avi clip into a new project and when I rendered it (single pass 200k), the MPEG file actually increases in size.

When I was having the problem, the rendered file stayed at zero!!

Thanks
