To Upload a Video to Youtube, Vimeo and so on are more difficult than it must be.
SO what is when it where possible to Upload the Videodata at the Moment of Rendering? Then the Videos could be faster Online, if that is the Goal for Producing. Greetings Sven |

HM, myself I prefer to SEE first what I've cooked up, before committing it to the world...
Yeah, probably I am just old fashioned :-) |

Thats right, for the most uploads it would be the best do it like you would.
For a few Uploads it would a good Option. But probably I make Mistake in my Thoughts.. If I render a Video to an FTP Server it is the Thing that I'm searching for... |

Hmmmm... why should Kdenlive be able to "speak" FTP? It is a video editing software. Isn't there a syncing software which could do that? When rendering into a synchronized directory it would upload the differences (the growing render result) to the destination server. Maybe it could do it steadily and end shortly after rendering is done.
A syncing software would be much more specialized and sophisticated to handle situations like connection problems, timeouts, connection losses, interruptable uploads, security features (SFTP and stuff). I understand, that it would help you, but from my point of view, a video editing software should stay a video editing software, especially, if the feature is needed only "for a few uploads". |
