0.7.6 Kdenlive, Ubuntu 9.10

Question, I believe I must be doing something wrong. First off, my source files are a strange size, 704x480. They are shot in widescreen but Kden doesn't recognize that they are 16x9 so I force the pixel aspect ration for each clip to 1.42 which I have read here. I have a feeling this may be part of my problem. Anyway, I put together a project (NTSC 16x9 VOB 2 pass) and create the DVD. When I play on the TV, I have bars on the top and bottom like when you watch some higher aspect ratio movies.

When I use the same clips in MWMM this does not happen, the movie takes up the entire screen which is what I prefer. I would really like to get this working correctly in Kden because I like the program and am trying to get off Windows.

Solved, if I force the aspect ration to 1.19 on the clips its perfect. The 1.42 never looked 100% correct anyway.
