Kdenlive works just fine for me. I just wish I could mark some rendering profiles as "Favorite" so that I could find them easily the next time I render my project.
Sorry if this is in a wrong forum - is there a wishlist forum or something?

Render > Rendering > Select Rendering Format > Create New Profile > Save Profile > Enter Profile Name > OK

Ha - that was easy. It is not exactly intuitive but it works fine. This way I can actually create several "favorite groups".

In the development version, I just added that feature. You now have a "copy to favorite" button that sends a copy of the current profile into "Favorites" which is a new category of profiles, making it easier to manage.
