Sorry for asking what I would think would be such an easy thing to do but I cannot find out how to render a movie.

I have created a movie and saved as a .kdenlive file but when I try to render I am only presented with a dialog box to choose which format and then an option to close. How do I actually start the rendering process?

I must have a different version of Kdenlive as that shown in the tutorials page because the process and options are different from what's mentioned there. Can anyone point me to a site or page that will show me how to render for the version that I am running?

I am using Kubuntu 9.10 and Kdenlive 0.7.5.
