Help! I have installed kdenlive and it seems a perfect tool for my needs. However there appears to be a problem that I cannot figure out how to solve.
After my presentation has been rendered, regardless of whether saved into avi or mpeg2 format, the output presentation is apparently different from the intended show (as shown in the preview). It seems that the kdenlive chooses to include in the output different parts of the input videos than those that I have chosen and included in the project file (as shown in the preview). There must be something wrong in what I am doing, but I don't know what. Help please! Thanks so much for taking time to read this. There are nothing wrong in terminal output. I seem to experience the same problem on my computer:
Kubuntu 9.10 (with all updates) latest software from Sunab PPA In my case at least it does not matter if the clips are cut from the end or from the beginning, the rendering always uses clips with full length: For example I put 4 clips in a project, the first I cut from the end, the second I leave at it's full lengh and the third and fourth I cut from the beginning, the project length is showed as 15 minutes, save the project, put it to rendering (full project render) and the end result is 25 minutes, the parts that were cut and _are not shown in the timeline_ are still there in the rendered project. How could I be of help with debugging this? |
