Even with the latest kdenlive version I'm having problems with out of sync audio. I'm using videoclips from the Pentax K-7 with 720p and 30fps and for some reason I can't create a video with fitting audio. If anybody has an idea or knows a work around I would be extremly happy!

Does nobody have an idea? I tried to fix the problem with ffmpeg but I figured out that the video isn't async on a constant level but that from cut to cut the delay between audio and video is different. I'm so frustrated at the moment that I'm thinking of changing back to windows and buy a working video tool :(

Does melt play the files correctly ?
Is the audio out of sync right from the beginning or after some searching on the timeline ? If this is the case, it might be a similar issue as reported in this mlt bug: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2892086&group_id=96039&atid=613414 Toby |

Funny thing is that openshot (which I've tried as a replacement for kdenlive) uses the same mlt and has no problems rendering videos with fitting audio, cutting is easier and the outputquality is far better. The only problem I have is that since its installation melt doesn't have sound anymore (which is used for the cutting preview of openshot) so that it is unusable either. I decided to buy windows 7 tomorrow, I've wasted more than 100 hours with this problem now and still have no solution - that isn't worth the afford...
But thanks for your help anyway! |

But for advice, buy a 24 inch Mac with Smoke from Autodesk |
