I recently upgraded from Kdenlive 0.7.5 to 0.7.7.1, and I discovered that I cannot render to websites but I can to file (I managed to render to Theora and to mpeg4). It is interesting that if a video is very short, less that one minute let's say, then I CAN RENDER TO WEBSITES!!!. But when I tried to render a 1m 30 sec long video to youtube, and dailymotion, it crashed at about 60%. This leads me to assume, that there must something with the length of the video.
Why is that? I haven't had such problems with 0.7.5. Please help me if you can, I really need to be able to render to websites. Thanks. |

Do you have problems rendering to other formats?
Does Kdenlive give you any message about the crash? As a temporary workaround just render with a "normal" profile. You can upload these files as well even though they are not that optimized for this specific purpose. |

No I don't have problems with other formats at all and I don't get a message. It just says that "rendering crashed" but does not say why.

I notice the crash too. I found the error message in the kern.log:
"melt[18010]: segfault at 0 ip b7606896 sp b35588f8 error 6 in libc-2.9.so[b758d000+15c000]" I reinstall the libc6_2.9-4ubuntu6.1_i386, but this is not solve my problem. |

MLT 0.5.4 will be released by end of April. Looking into a couple more possible bugfixes.
