Hi everybody!
I'm new to video editing and to kden live, and I'm not sure this is the right forum section because I'm not really sure what happened... so forgive me if I give out too many details, I'll just try to give all the elements I have a project with several clips I am assembling. As the program crashes quite often, I have several backups of the project: I save it once as myproject1.kednlive, then myproject2.kdenlive, then myproject3.kdenlive and then I start from the beginning again, overwriting old versions. yesterday I exported the project to DVD, to see the final quality, even if it is not finished yet. (by the way, after I got the audio_ts and video_ts folders I have no clue how I should burn them to a DVD to have a regular working DVD, but that's another issue) after this, if I open the project every clip seems shuffled. I mean, let's suppose I start with an excerpt of clip1, from minute 1 to minute 3 of clip one. then I have an excerpt of clip2, from minute 4 to minute 5 of clip2. If I play the timeline I now see first clip1 from minute 2 to minute 4 and then clip2 from minute 2 to minute 3: they're the wrong excerpts. BUT if I only select the single clip from the timeline (cursor on it and double click) I see in the preview the CORRECT clip, not the shuffled one. and this happens with ALL the project versions, not just the last one I exported the DVD from. do you think I can get my "right" project back (without doing it all over again, possibly)? thank you so much! |

thanks!
I couldn't risk messing everything up with, so I managed to finish with 0.6.0 anyway... it was hard but I got it! now that this project is ok, I'm going to upgrade ;-) |
