is it possible with kdenlive to export (render) in:
image sequence BMP?

i tried to create a new profil like this:
Extension: .bmp
Parameters: vcodec=bmp

doesn't work, output jpg in low quality.

Hmmmm... if BMP does not work and you strictly need that (oldfashioned?) format, why not export to lossless PNG (you did not mention, you have seen this option) and batch convert it with some painting or picture viewing tool to BMP? The result should be fine, as PNG and BMP are lossless and you avoid the - as you wrote - JPG in low quality.

Could you share the lossless PNG profile. I searched for it in Download new render profiles, but didn't find anything for PNG. What i have now is:

Extension: .png
Parameters: vcodec=png
Filename: losslesspng-%06d.png

It outputs JPEG with .png extension

hmm, vcodec=png is supposed to work, so is vcodec=bmp. Just tested it and works for me. Maybe it is a problem with version of ffmpeg?
