Hi all,

I render my Kdenlive projects due to several causes direct with melt via bash script.
Source is a project file and destination is consumer avformat.

Does anybody know, if I can use the new multi consumer feature with melt? Syntax?

For my understanding, with this feature I'm able to render simultaneous e.g to two or three avformat's say DVD MPEG2 .vob and Android x264 .mp4 file. Decoding and processing of the source clips will happen only once.

In melt it should be as easy as using "-consumer" multiple times.

See: http://www.mail-archive.com/mlt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net/msg01792.html
Or you might want to have a look at the multi consumer documentation: http://www.mltframework.org/twiki/bin/view/MLT/ConsumerMulti

Ok, thanks for your answer.
I'll try this out in a few days. I'm currently away from my system.
I hope that I'll get no problems with the command line length...

Also it's good to know that "multi" is a discrete consumer. I didn't notice this in the documentation until now.
