Hello, I can not render my final movie. I click render and by default it wants me to render a .m2t file. So I click the drop down and try to render to a media player. All export options are labeled in red with an X. I then tried choosing website and again all are labeled in red with an X. What should I do to fix this problem?
Edit: By going through the wizard again, I was able to get YouTube 640x480 to be available I also have tried following this guide but it didn't do anything http://www.kdenlive.org/user-manual/troubleshooting-and-common-problems/i-cannot-render-specific-format-xvid-mpeg-4-flash-it Well honestly this is the screenshot of what it looks like. Please help. http://yfrog.com/jwscreenshotmkp |

What if I installed from source instead of the Ubuntu Software Center would that make a difference?

It seems as if Kdenlive misses a couple of libraries. I do not run ubuntu but openSUSE and usualy I first install ffmpeg and vlc, then Kdenlive and I accept the libraries that will be installed automatically to solve the dependecies.
Maybe this is worth a try on your system. With ffmpeg and vlc a lot of the libraries come along - but just installing Kdenlive and accepting the automatic dependency changes should work, too. Do you have an option to resolve dependencies automatically? If so, is it checked? And maybe this thread helps you out... http://www.kdenlive.org/forum/cannot-render-mpeg4xvid4h264flash Good luck! |
