My Panasonic SD9 save 1920x1080 50i mts file.
I have not found this profile in Kdenlive but only 1080i 25fps, 29.97fps or 30fps.
Should I convert 50i to 25p forcing frame when export to file ???

Hi, I know sometimes different names can lead to misunderstanding... You don't have to transcode to 25p (deinterlace) unless your final rendering is going to be uploaded on the web (anyway I would do it at the end of the workflow). "1080i 25fps" is the right profile for "1920x1080 50i" (25 interlaced frames per second = 50 fileds per second).
