Hi,
I want to render xvid content with the cgop flag set (flag=cgop). This worked fine on kdenlive 0.7.7.1 with melt 0.5.6 and I could play the output on DVD DivX players or on Bluray HD DivX players.

On Kdenlive 0.7.8 I don't get any video when this flag is set (melt 0.5.10). Does anyone know why?

Here is my Render Profile for DivX Home Theater profile

s=720x405 vcodec=libxvid bf=1 b=850k mbd=2 g=300 flags=cgop acodec=libmp3lame ab=128k ac=2 pass=2

This works ok on the command line with ffmpeg.

Are you using an interlaced project or render setting? If so, then maybe your device does not like the interlaced encoding. Those flags are set by mlt automatically when you do interlaced output.

Also, try with flags=+cgop. From FFmpeg docs "Prefixing a flag with '+' causes it to be set without affecting the other flags; similarly, '-' unsets a flag."
