Is it possible merge two clips (in the same format, of course) without re-rendering is needed?
Really I not need that but It could be a workaround when you find a bug in your work and you don't have enough time to re-render everything only, for example, due to wrong-way transition effect. Does anyone have any good idea for this? Thats will be very appreciate. Stefano |

Hi, I have read in previous posts that kdenlive cannot do this. Rendering is always "needed".
Avidemux can do this, I use it always for this purpose. I think It's one of the best open source software for managing video. Actually, because the stable version doesn't keep in perfect sync A/V, I use the "developement" version FOR WINDOWS 32 bit UNDER WINE - it works perfectly. This is a common issue with mpg transport streams (like HDV .m2t files or DVB-T .ts files). Ignazio |

Thanks very much for your answer. I knew very well avidemux and I use it to. But I meet an problem when I try to merge two segments in MPEG2. After I do this, It seams that the file format changes and I can't see it anymore with my TV. Anyway thank you for you answer.
