Hello,
I'm having trouble rendering a video to H.264. It plays fine in Kdenlive, but the rendered video doesn't contain sound for higher bitrates (e.g., 4000), but works for lower bitrates (e.g., 400), with all other parameters being the same. My rendering profile is as follows: f=mp4 acodec=aac ac=2 ab=128k ar=48000 vcodec=libx264 b=%bitrate+'k' vpre=medium aspect=%dar pass=%passes Force progressive; export audio; 1 encoder thread; 1 pass; selected zone 'mediainfo' reveals it doesn't have an audio stream. The original clips are AVCHD. Kdenlive Version 0.8.1 (rev. 5864) What could be my mistake? Thank you for your support. |

It appears to work with the following parameters:
f=mp4 vcodec=libx264 preset=medium minrate=0 b=%bitrate+'k' aspect=%dar pass=%passes acodec=aac ac=2 ab=128k ar=48000 So I guess the problem is solved. |

FFmpeg, libav, and x264 has been changing a lot - in particular preset options handling.

Is it possible to have Kdenlive log the MLT/FFmpeg/libav/x264 output messages to a file to simplify debugging the parameter settings?
