Hi everybody, I've been searching for the topic above and already read some articles, but I still couldn't find anything that matches my problem. I have some clips in AVCHD (Canon Legria S100, System: Opensuse 12.1, KDENLIVE installed from repository Packman) and want to render them into *.vob for creating a DVD. When I open the "Render"-dialogue, there don't appear any of the options like ("PAL 4:3" oder "PAL 16:9 2 pass" or similar). Do I lack a certain codec? I thought, I got them all (I checked everything that YAST offered when querying "ffmpeg"), but I still can't render my files. Does anybody know how to solve this? It's the christmas-show my three-year old son performs in, and I would like to make a DVD for my parents...

Greetings

In the render dialogue -> Render Project and choose DVD from the Destination List, you should see PAL 4:3 & 16:9 VOB.

If those are missing goto to Settings in the menu and look for Download New Render Profiles, they may be there.
