I have recently crashed my xubuntu desktop and had to reload it frum scratch, now I cant render the following formats in kdenlive
mp4
flash
xvid
H.264
I thought it might e my install so I loaded kde on a diffrent partision and after adding the ppa:sunab/kdenlive-release to my repository list and updating with the command apt-get update I downloaded kdenlive with the command apt-get install kdenlive everyting looked ok I had checkmarks in all boxes and kdenlive started right up but the above rendering formats still wont work for this install eather. I have a previous install of kde desktop and all rendering formats work on that install ( I will not be upgrading this install as I think somthing has changed in the repository's to make the above rendering formats no longer work.)
has anyone else had this happen to there install?
can enyone tell me what I am doing wrog or conferm that the problem is in the repository's?

Hi as of feb-14-2012 xubuntu, kubuntu and ubuntu all are working with all rendering formats agin the mlt has ben upgraded to 0.7.6 from 0.7.4. thanks to all involved with this project for a fine pice of software. so far I have captured video from my pchdtv 5500 card and rendered up to 30 min files in mpg4 used my nicon coolpix 4600 camera to record .mov files and converted them to webm with added sound in ogg format and made 5 short movies to send to relatives and frinds. I still dont have a hd camcorder but am looking at the sony cx210b and will be getting one as soon as I save up the $300.00 us.
