i'm putting together a bunch of shorts which are taking longer to render than they're taking to edit.
i'd like to get them all edited, then sequentially render them while i'm away from the computer (7 projects, times 40 minutes each, that's a nice nap). rendering in parallel would smoke my computer, but i suppose it would be possible from multiple GUI instances. i'd really prefer to set them up to render while i catch some sleep. is there any way to "batch" a bunch of rendering jobs, one after the other? thanks... |

You can create a script for each project via the render panel, leaving the render panel open whilst opening and closing the projects in turn to stack them up in the render queue, however the missing bit is processing the queue, appears can only process scripts individually, but the scripts can also be accessed via the ~/kdenlive/scripts folder so a simple batch script could process them in turn from a terminal, also you can drag kdenlive projects into a project as clips so could process all projects from one master project as an alternative.
