Is it possilbe to render using MJPEG ?

Not sure if it's possilbe using FFMPEG - I think this is what Kdenlive uses.

Yes, but you have to create you own render profile to do that. And then wait forever, because ffmpeg's MJPEG encoder isn't multithreaded.

Hi,

I also want to render to mjpeg file using kdenlive.
Can any one help me to create the render profile for it?

Thanks a lot for your inputs.

Using your way we could render the file using MJPEG with following parameters,
vcodec=mjpeg vb=%bitrate+'k' aspect=%dar pass=%passes

Now, our only problem is that we are getting pix_fmt yuvj420 with which our end application does not work. We need only yuv420 pix_fmt.

Would you please help/suggest how we can get only yuv420 pixel format?
