Solution to the problem of kdenlive rendering with mlt 0.7.8 on Ubuntu 12.04
Thu May 17, 2012 3:44 am
Hi,
Sorry for my english. Searching on forum, I found this topic: http://www.kdenlive.org/forum/solved-kdenlive-rendering-crashed It relates the problem of mlt with aac sound support. I remembered I had already solved problems like this in Ubuntu with the command padsp, which emulates the dsp device (since it no longer exists on Ubuntu). So I test in Kdenlive, and it worked! I used this command: padsp kdenlive |

What version of Kdenlive are you using? If it is 0.9, the version on the repository really chrashes. Try to build the source.

I've upgraded to 0.9, but proxy returs the following message:

@ KoRnholio8:
You need to install the mp3 codec, install package: libmp3lame0 |

Kdenlive on my computer only works if I launch with padsp. Anyone know why?
