Hallo.
I'm on ubuntu 12.04.2 kdenlive 0.9.6 libmlt4 installed. when i' trying to export/render a simple clip it will be rendered. I have one project with different effects, clips, sound ecc and i don't get it rendered. I t takes one second for rendering the job and then it has created a empty file. here are some screenshots http://tinypic.com/r/2m6wrus/5 the rendiering finished in 5 seconds http://tinypic.com/r/al4ry0/5 the setting http://tinypic.com/r/2rxz1wx/5 the project some idea what is wrong. I googled around and i didn't find any soltution. What is strange for me if i insert a clip and then i try to render it in another format it works Thanks for reply |

i tried also to run kdenlive with sudo and it started rendering but after a while it is crashing with:

I'm also seeing mp3-related crashes over a wide range of kdenlive/mlt versions. You may try to encode as a fixed bitrate mp3, sometimes this helps. Otherwise, transcode to another audio format and use this. Sometimes it helps to make the audio a little bit longer by appending silence to its end, saving this as mp3 and when using in kdenlive in the timelime, shorten it to crop the silence. This may also cure the overrun crashes you see.
