Hi, I do I reopen a rendering script that I want to run again?
When I reboot my pc even if I find the scripts in the default directory I cannot import them in Kdenlive. I have lost some work in this way, because sometimes if I cannot run the script again I have to reedit the files.
Thanks.

Normally you would import a .kdenlive file into kdenlive. You would not import the rendering script that kdenlive writes.
But you can use kdenlive to re-render a project using the script it writes if you really want to.

See http://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manual/Rendering

Thanks.

This reply does not answer my question, but in the meantime I have solved the problem myself and I'll try to explain here.
In case the scripts do not appear in the rendering queue anymore, and you do not have the project file to open, you can find the scripts browsing to the directory where they are stored.
You can find the directory in kdenlive settings.
Than you can launch every single script by the command line; first you have to write cd and go to the folder where the scripts are, like: cd /directory/subdirectory/scriptsfolder.

Than you have to type: sh scriptnameandnumber.sh

In this way you will run the scripts from the command line. Inside the script there is a command to call the sh.mlt script, that is a command executed by melt.

If you have many scripts, you have to create your own list of scripts. With text editor or gededit open an sh script and save it as "scriptlist.sh" or a similar name.

Then you can paste into this one all the scripts (copy and paste).

In this way when you execute the list it will run all the scripts.

If you have swwitched your computer on and off, and your files are on an external disk, maybe the path to the source or destination file is changed; in this case you have to edit it by hand, but this is not a big deal.

I hope that this helps and maybe it can be added to the wiki as well.
