Rendering H.264 crashes at 99%

Sat Aug 24, 2013 11:05 pm
I am completely baffled as towhy this is happening. Can anyone help me out with this? If I render in H.264 (mp4) it always crashes at the end of the rendering making a useless file. Here is a terminal dump from when the render starts:

//STARTING RENDERING: true , false , "/usr/bin/melt" , "atsc_720p_5994" , "avformat" , "-" , "/tmp/kde-rick/kdenlivebm6709.mlt" , "/home/rick/Videos/assembling solar jar/test 2pass.mp4" , () , ("f=mp4", "hq=1", "acodec=aac", "ab=384k", "ar=48000", "pix_fmt=yuv420p", "vcodec=libx264", "minrate=0", "vb=12000k", "g=250", "bf=3", "b_strategy=1", "subcmp=2", "cmp=2", "coder=1", "flags=+loop", "flags2=dct8x8", "qmax=51", "subq=7", "qmin=10", "qcomp=0.6", "qdiff=4", "trellis=1", "aspect=@16/9", "threads=4", "real_time=-3") , -1 , -1
Started render process: "/usr/bin/melt" "/tmp/kde-rick/kdenlivebm6709.mlt -profile atsc_720p_5994 -consumer avformat:/home/rick/Videos/assembling solar jar/test 2pass.mp4 progress=1 f=mp4 hq=1 acodec=aac ab=384k ar=48000 pix_fmt=yuv420p vcodec=libx264 minrate=0 vb=12000k g=250 bf=3 b_strategy=1 subcmp=2 cmp=2 coder=1 flags=+loop flags2=dct8x8 qmax=51 subq=7 qmin=10 qcomp=0.6 qdiff=4 trellis=1 aspect=@16/9 threads=4 real_time=-3"
"Rendering of /home/rick/Videos/assembling solar jar/test 2pass.mp4 aborted, resulting video will probably be corrupted."

And even though it self aborted in terminal, I can't abort the render in the render window of kdenlive, I end up just closing out the program and reopening kdenlive to clear the render window..

Linux Mint 15
Mlt 0.9.1
Kdenlive 0.9.7
ffmpeg 6:0.10.7
libav 6:10

Please anyone got any ideas?
