Hi, I'm new with Linux and Kdenlive. I just installed Linux Mint and Kdenlive. I'm testing the export settings, but can't export to h.264 or mp4. I know this is a license issue, but is there a way to enable exporting to these formats? Free or paid?

Which distribution are you using? You will likely need to install an unencumbered version of ffmpeg - usually available from the Multimedia repositories.

I'm not sure what you are talking about. I just started with Linux and can't find the multimedia repositories. I'm running Linux Mint 15 and use Kdenlive 0.9.6

Thank you for your reply and I've installed the codecs with ease. But the problem is not solved for me. Exporting to mp4, h.264 e.g. doesn't work: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9ohn-udIXApcUlIZWxfWmg2MU0
