I'm currently working on a video project created with kdenlive, where I use both video and images. When I add title clips to the video, it works like a charm and I don't have any problems. However, when I add a title clip to an image, the rendering crashes.

Any help please? I'm running kdenlive 0.9.6 on Ubuntu 13.04.

It looks more like your renderer was having problems with MP3 files, not images and overlays; I mean, the logs you pasted in seem to be dealing with audio, for the most part.

Can you confirm that the project renders successfully without the title clip?

Some things I would check, otherwise:
- what format is the image file?
- does the image file have an alpha channel? does it need one? if not, flatten it.
- Try converting the image into something "safe" like a .tiff and re-import it. See if Kdenlive likes that better.

Those are the things that come immediately to mind. Hope some of it helps.
