Render to lower framerate

Thu Nov 21, 2013 8:59 pm
In a previous version I could create a project @60 fps, and render it to a lower framerate, eg 30 fps. In the 0.9.6 version I can't find this option anymore in the render dialog. How can I render to a lower framerate?

Hello,

You render your project at 60 fps and then you can do the following thing outside KDNLIV. Open a terminal and type:

ffmpeg -i iputfile.whatever -r 30 -acodec copy -sameq ouputfile.whatever

It should do the job without sensible quality loss.

There is also probably a way to switch the ffmpeg param of an existing preset to 30 fps, according to KDLNV syntax (i.e. r=30)
