I've tried several settings to export a video project and it is always blocky, or blurry depending on the settings used.
From VLC: Codec: MPEG4 (FMP4) 1280x720 FPS: 30 I also tried exporting the video first from OpenShot (as avi mpeg4 hd720p 30fps), which looks good, and then into Kdenlive but the out put still ends up the same. I tried once with the orginal file in OpenShot and don't have this problem. What can I do? I'm using 9.6 I also can't use open shot because the freeze affect is bombing the program out. |

Yes both at h264 bitrate 25000 and lossless Did some more testing and found I fixed the blocky problem. I wasn't checking resize video so it was defaulting to a lower res. Check'd and set it to the orginal video size so now my only issue is the image is not as sharpe as the orginal, aka blury. I think I figured it out. had to adjust the profile for the project...will let you know if this isn't the case in the future. Yup, it was a combination of profile selection and manually making sure the resolution was set right. |

I'm not exactly sure I fully understood your answer. If you correctly set the project settings to use your desired output frame size, then the resize option from the render dialog should be *un*checked. You only need to check when rendering to a frame size differing from the project settings.
