How to render with H.263 codec

Fri Jul 18, 2014 12:35 pm
Hello. I am relatively new to KDE, having used the commercial tools on Windows in the past.

I have an original video that was encoded using an H.263 v2 codec (also known as H263+). I would like to edit the video and render using the same codec.

Although KDE can import the video, and I can edit it, I do not see an option to render using an H.263 codec. Could anyone tell me how to accomplish this?

Thank you in advance for your guidance.

Hi harbi,
I guess you may want to create a custom rendering profile as described in section 13 here:
