Hi, I had made an test:
I might want to make lets plays and wanted the best and fastest format.
I've tested H.264, Webm and Flash in 720p 30Fps.
I rendered an Video with about 34 min. (Intro-Outro 720p (about: 30 FPS) and the LP 1366x768 (25 FPS) ).
The results:
- H.264: 1 hour and about 30 minutes.
- Flash: 17 MINUTES!
- Webm: 1 hour and 7 minutes.

Result sizes:
- H.264: 3,1 GB
- Flash: 2,1 GB
- WebM: 1,6 GB

My question:

Why is rendering in flv faster than the video?
I saw that the Code-Threads-Option in flv i not aviable.
Do Kdenlive render flv with the graphiccard? (I have an simple laptop and not an good graphicscard)
I compared the results and do not saw big quality changes in the quality.

BUT WHY IS ENCODING FLV SO FAST???
