Hi folks!
Great software here. I want to know if I can edit in 1080p, ZOOM/PAN at about 150% zoom (which should be about 720p), and render in 720p maintaining perfect quality of the 720p. Essentially, my tack is this: 1. Take wide shots in 1080p... zoom and pan where I want in POST production, but never to zoom less then into the 720p size. 2. Render in 720p... and have great quality as if I had just filmed in 720p in the first place. The idea should be that any shot that isn't zoomed more then 720p should maintain it's original quality. I don't really know how to do this. I would GREATLY appreciate any and all advice and discussion on the matter. I am typically a single operator with two cameras. I would like to take a tight wide shot with one stationary camera, and get other moving shots and cutaways with the other camera that I have to operate, but i'd like my stationary camera to have some zoom and pan shots. |

Hi scody,
create a 720p project, add the 1080p files and apply a "Pan and zoom" effect (keyframeable) to the clips as needed. Then render. Cheers Achim |
